    Netflix‘s ‘Nightbooks’ is a new film coming to the streaming service based on the popular book by J. A. White! The film is being produced by horror icon Sam Raimi and will star Krysten Alyce Ritter as the evil young witch that holds young Alex (Winslow Fegley) hostage. She’ll force him to why scary stories in her magical apartment, and must tell her a story every night just to stay alive. However, he will team up with another prisoner, Yasmin (Lidya Jewett) to find a way out of their prison.

    Take a look at the official trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

    “Scary story fan Alex must tell a spine-tingling tale every night — or stay trapped with his new friend in a wicked witch’s magical apartment forever. When Alex (Winslow Fegley), a boy obsessed with scary stories, is trapped by an evil witch (Krysten Ritter) in her magical apartment, and must tell a scary story every night to stay alive, he teams up with another prisoner, Yasmin (Lidya Jewett), to find a way to escape.”

    Netflix’s ‘Nightbooks’ releases next month on September 15th.
