While 2020 has been anything but normal, we can always rely on Ryan Reynolds for a good laugh. Today, the comedy star shared a video for his new film ‘Free Guy’ that was suppose to release this summer before COVID-19 hit, though, we all know how that turned out.
So, what did this marketing genius do? Marketed his film to us without us really realizing we were being marketed to, because, that’s what he does. In the video, he is confident that ‘Free Guy’ will release December 11, though, to be safe he enlists help to come up with alternative release dates, you know, just in case.
Check out the video below.
“In theaters December 11th ??#FreeGuy“
Ryan Reynold’s Film ‘Free Guy’ Coming December 11, Probably
It looks like we’ll also be getting a new trailer for the film tomorrow. Well, probably. I mean, that’s what the title says anyways. The film follows a bank teller called Guy, who realizes he is a background character in an open world video game called Free City that will soon go offline.
The film co-stars Joe Keery of ‘Stranger Things‘ and looks to be a classic comedy film from Reynolds. Now, if only we knew when we could see it. Hopefully, we will be back in theaters by December 11 and can watch it while the crowd roars with laughter, probably.
