Princess Eugenie may suffer extensive criticism if she decides to go ahead and help Prince Harry with his new book.
Royal Expert Warns Princess Eugenie Over Helping Prince Harry With His Book
That is according to Royal expert Duncan Larcombe. Harry, for his part, has signed a four-book deal that will detail his life in the Royal family and promises to be a comprehensive view, given he is no longer constrained by the Royal family since his exit. Naturally, he is very good friends with Eugenie since Harry let her stay in his cottage as he moved overseas.
But with that being said, Eugenie will have to navigate her loyalties very carefully. Should she help Harry with the book, she could become an outcast. And yet, should she decide to stay silent, it may put her friendship with Harry at risk. During an interview with True Royalty TV’s Royal Beat, Duncan warned about the consequences of speaking to Harry.
He said: “I always laugh, if [Princess] Eugenie is helping with the book, let’s just hope for her sake that does not mean that she too does not have to live in exile when the rest of the Royal Family are all offended.” It is not clear yet what Eugenie will do.
After all, it is wise that she keeps her cards close to her chest. She could do without the media intrusion that would come her way, given that she recently welcomed the arrival of her son (August) in February this year with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. As such, she should be putting all her energy into her immediate family rather than getting involved in Harry’s saga.
Duncan’s following comments confirmed as much: “Nobody is going to come off unscathed here. Maybe this is some sort of therapy for Harry where he can unburden himself, but nobody in the Royal Family is going to come off unscathed.”
We can only speculate on who Harry will talk to and mention in his new book. Whether that is Eugenie or other members is anyone’s guess. But it is safe to say that the book will promise to reveal all. Its release cannot come soon enough.
