It looks like Prince Andrew has at least one supporter out there. There’s a new report that says a royal expert and author defended both Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein in a very bizarre interview. Here’s what you need to know.
Lady Colin Campbell, who has gone on the record to slam Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on what seems like a daily basis, was on GB News this week. She said that Prince Andrew was being made a scapegoat in the U.S. with his connection to Jeffrey Epstein in order to protect former President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
Royal Expert Defends Prince Andrew In Bizarre Interview
Lady C was asked if Prince Andrew had damaged the royal family’s reputation more than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have this past year. She said that Epstein was a “ephebophile” and added that she “wasn’t saying he was a bad man.”
She then added, “Everything is layered and measured and everything should be viewed proportionately. Let’s remember, Bill Clinton, who is a far bigger name and a far heavier hitter on the world stage, was a far greater friend and for far longer than Prince Andrew.”
Back in April, Prince Andrew was offered $7 million dollars to take a lie detector test. Royal expert and author Ian Halperin offered £5 million pounds to Andrew “to come clean and take a polygraph test with a world-leading polygraph examiner,” he told Page Six. He wants to quiz Randy Andy about claims from Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who says she was brought from the US to Britain at age 17 to have sex with the Prince in 2001.
Halperin said at the time, “I am giving Andrew a chance to finally clear his name. I am offering 5 million pounds to Prince Andrew to come clean and take a polygraph test with a world-leading polygraph examiner. If he passes, my investment group will hand him over £5 million pounds.”
