He sure does love his royal mummy, now doesn’t he? There’s a new report that says Queen Elizabeth’s two new puppies actually came from her favorite son, Prince Andrew. Apparently, the Duke of York gifted his mother the puppies to help her whenever she feels “down and alone” in her castle. Here’s what you need to know.
Queen Elizabeth, who has always loved having Corgis by her side, had no plans to get new dogs because she feared she was getting too old for them, a source told Britain’s The Sun.
But Randy Andy “surprised his mom with two new puppies when she felt down and alone in the castle” when husband Prince Philip was first sick and hospitalized for four weeks back in February. The Duke of Edinburgh passed away at the age of 99 earlier this month.

Sources say that Queen Elizabeth is now “smitten” with the adorable pups — corgi Muick and dachshund-corgi cross Fergus — and takes them for daily walks.
Just last week, Prince Andrew told the public that his mother Queen Elizabeth has been left with a huge void in her life in the wake of the death of her beloved husband.
Andrew, the third of the couple’s four children, spoke as well-wishers arrived to leave floral tributes outside the gates of the royal residence in memory of Prince Philip.
Andrew said his mother “described it as having left a huge void in her life.”
“We’ve lost, almost, the grandfather of the nation,” he said. “And I feel very sorry and supportive of my mother, who’s feeling it probably more than everybody else.”
If that weren’t enough, Prince Andrew is looking to make a public comeback after having been forced to retire from public appearances and royal engagements because of his shady associations with Jeffrey Epstein.
Apparently, Andy has been a “rock” for his beloved mother both through the loss of Philip and the crisis of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s damaging TV tell-all.
