Prince William has made it pretty clear that having three children is more than enough for him, but is he taking into account how his wife Kate Middleton might feel about all of this? That’s what a lot of fans want to know as some people believe that William’s supposedly “snarky” comments about not giving his wife any more ideas about having a fourth baby is not sitting well with some royal critics. According to reports, William teased his wife Kate about not wanting more children during a visit to Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire, England, on Thursday.
Royal Critics Lash Out At Prince William’s Snarky Remarks
“Don’t give my wife any more ideas!” William, 39, joked with staffers as they swooned over Middleton, 40, cradling an onlooker’s baby in her arms. However, once the Duchess of Cambridge returned the little girl to her parents, her hubby added, “Don’t take her with you.”
Back in September, it was also reported that Kate Middleton was forced to put her baby plans on hold. That’s because they’ve got too much on their plate with their royal engagements and scheduled public appearances.
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both fans and critics to react to Prince William’s supposedly snarky comments. Many of them wrote, “I find that William’s sense of humor is always at the expense of someone else and is cruel. I recall in that The Other Brother write-up, one of his friends stated that he’s “merciless in his teasing” which is a huge red flag and makes me wonder if his brother was sick and tired of being on the receiving end of so much teasing.”
Another fan wrote, “Making jokes and snide remarks is William’s stock in trade. His main target for sarcastic jokes and put downs was his brother Harry…..until Meghan came along. She wasn’t going to have her husband used and trampled on like a doormat and she made Harry stand up for himself,” along with, “Given the that infamous comment about how all she wanted was a loads of kids and an AGA (and the original anonymous source adds in being able to take ski trips), and the face that the reporting that Kate expected to be engaged to William when she turned 25, I am sure that Kate expected then to have at least 1 if not 2 children before age 30. The size of their family has been a source of tension with them for many, many years.”
