This rumour was shocking to say the least given the speed at which things would have happened. The pair allegedly only dated for around seven months before news emerged that they were ready to move on to the next stage of their lives.
The duo had allegedly been spotted wearing rings which suggested that a proposal had been made. And it all came to a head at a Casamigos Halloween party, as the two were clearly into each other.
A source confirmed the following: “They were making out in a corner and telling everyone how excited they are to be engaged.” Despite this being the case, Rebel denied there had been an engagement. In her comments, she said: “Thanks for the well wishes but we are NOT engaged!”
It is fair to say that Rebel’s personal life has changed considerably over the years. She had previously been romantically connected to Jacob Busch, who happens to be the heir to Budweiser.
But having broken up after a year of dating, Rebel would go on to have her first same-sex relationship. In addition, this also saw a dramatic weight loss transformation in which Rebel lost a reported 80 pounds. And ever since that moment, she has not looked back.
In some comments at the time, she remarked: “I like to think I looked good at all sizes and stuff and I’ve always been quite confident. So, it wasn’t like I wasn’t confident and then now I’m, like, super confident.”
The fans on social media, however, were pessimistic towards the prospect of the relationship lasting. This was simply on the grounds that things had moved so quickly irrespective of whether there was an engagement. The following comment confirmed as much: “Divorce in 6 months.”
