You’d think that by now the monarchy would learn that sometimes it’s best just to stay under the radar, but that surely didn’t happen for Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Peter Phillips over the weekend. Here’s what you need to know.
As many royal fans know by now, Peter Phillips is the son of Queen Elizabeth and the brother of Zara Phillips. He and his wife Autumn separated during the beginning of the pandemic, but are reportedly still living together.
British Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth’s Grandson Broke Britain’s Lockdown Rules For A Booty Call With A Married Woman
Just this weekend, Peter was caught breaking Britain’s lockdown rules when he traveled to Scotland to meet up with a mystery woman. The only problem with that is the mystery woman is married and the cops were called on Peter. Yikes.
The Queen’s grandson got the cops called on him for a potential violation of COVID protocols when he was spotted outside the home of one of his sister’s friends — 460 miles away from his royal residence.
Annoyed neighbors reportedly called the cops on Phillips, who is 17th in line for the throne and lives at his mom’s Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire. It’s been noted that the 39-year-old woman he was allegedly visiting is also separated from her husband.
“At around 6:40 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a potential breach of coronavirus regulations at a property in St Cyrus,” a spokesperson for Scotland police said.
“Officers attended, spoke to the occupants and found no breaches of legislation.”
With that said, a spokesman for Phillips said he was on official business with his company, XL Medical, which provides COVID rapid tests, when he traveled to the woman’s home.
