Prince Harry is certainly not wasting his time thinking about all of the royal drama that he left behind in London because not only has he been secretly working his new Silicon Valley job for a few months now, but he’s already landed a new gig, too. Say what now?!?
British Royal Family News: Wait, What? Prince Harry Started His Secret Tech Job Months Ago
Just a day after Harry-Works-A-Lot was named the chief impact officer of online mental health coaching service BetterUp, Inc., it’s now been confirmed that he has a new job as an expert investigating the “modern-day crisis” of online information.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, seeing how both he and Meghan Markle have both complained about the online abuse they’ve gotten in the past because of misinformation.
Described by the institute as a “humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist,” Harry said he was “eager” to help work “on a solution-oriented approach to the information disorder crisis.”
“As I’ve said, the experience of today’s digital world has us inundated with an avalanche of misinformation, affecting our ability as individuals as well as societies to think clearly and truly understand the world we live in,” Harry said in a statement to the press.
“It’s my belief that this is a humanitarian issue and as such, it demands a multi-stakeholder response from advocacy voices, members of the media, academic researchers, and both government and civil society leaders,” he added.
