She’s fine just where she is for now. There’s a new report that says Queen Elizabeth has no plans to return to Buckingham Palace or even Windsor Castle anytime soon, as she will be spending the next several weeks at her estate in Sandringham instead. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, the Queen was flown by helicopter last week from Windsor Castle to Sandringham, where she will spend the next several weeks. Apparently, Her Majesty took the decision in December to remain at Windsor Castle as a precautionary measure following rising Covid-19 cases at the time.
Queen Elizabeth Is Not Ready To Go Back To London Just Yet
This all comes after a report that suggests the Queen was “in despair” because of all the royal drama that she’s had to deal with recently. Just this last week Queen Elizabeth was forced to strip her son Prince Andrew of his honorary titles as he continues to fight his sexual asssault lawsuit. A woman by the name of Virignia Giuffre says that she was sex trafficked to Prince Andrew and forced to have sex with him when she was still a minor. If that weren’t enough, the Duke of York also came under intense scrutiny in the new ITV documentary, “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Pedofile.”
And now according to Jennie Bond, all of this has become too much for the Queen to deal with, as she has certainly been affected by her son’s legal case. Speaking to OK! Magazine in a new interview, she said, “I think the Queen will be holding her hands up in despair with her children and some of her grandchildren.”
Queen Elizabeth was forced to make the same decision to strip her grandson Prince Harry from his military titles back in 2020 when he and his wife Meghan Markle decided to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family in a move that has since been dubbed as ‘Megxit.’
Jennie continued: “Everybody feels for the Queen now with the Andrew debacle, but I think there has to be some equity between Harry and Andrew now. There was the argument and it probably wasn’t correct, but if Harry has been stripped of his titles then Andrew should have been some time ago.”
