Meghan Markle’s good pal Priyanka Chopra seemingly threw some royal shade at Prince William and Kate Middleton when she completely ignored them at the women’s singles final at Wimbledon this past weekend. The 38-year-old Hollywood actress apparently failed to clap along with the rest of the crowd when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their seats at the Royal Box ahead of the women’s singles final. Instead, she was seen adjusting her scarf and completely avoiding eye contact with the royal couple.

If that weren’t enough, Chopra also seemed to look away from the royals when she crossed paths with them on the Center Court balcony.
Back in 2019, Chopra spoke to Britain’s’ Sunday Times and said that all of the media criticism about her friend Meghan Markle was quite unfortunately. But she did point out that the Hollywood actress did say that if there is one person out there that can handle it, it’s most definitely her friend Meghan. The Hollywood actress said that Meghan is one tough cookie that doesn’t pay any attention to her critics, despite the fact that they can be rather cruel and unforgiving sometimes.
When asked if some people have a hard time seeing a biracial woman as a member of the British monarchy, Priyanka said, “For sure, 100%. Of course it has to do with racism, it’s an obvious reason. But the beauty of Meg is that she’s been herself through all of this. A lot of people got to know her after everything [once she started dating Harry], but I knew her before and she’s the same chick.”
