Prince William turns 42 today on June 21st, and Kate Middleton wasted no time sharing a birthday message and sweet photo to express her love for her husband, the future King.
William And Their Children Held Hands And Jumped Over Sand Dunes
The Princess of Wales took a snap of William jumping for joy off the dunes with their children, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte. All four of them were holding hands with enormous smiles and laughter.
Kate took to Instagram to post the picture and left the message,
“Happy birthday, Papa! We all love you so much! Cx.”
She took the photo at a beach close to their countryside home in Norfolk last month.
William and Kate have made it a tradition to share family photos to mark special occasions like birthdays, Mother’s and Father’s Day, and wedding anniversaries.
This past Sunday was Father’s Day in the UK. The family released a photo of William and his children, also taken by Kate, at the beach.
The family enjoys this particular beach, and they go there often. Many royal fans who saw the picture raved that it was the best photo they had ever seen of the Wales family.
Fans took to social media to wish the heir to the throne a happy birthday. One person said,

Social media users aren’t the only ones commemorating the Prince’s birthday. The royal family wished their future King with a beautiful old-fashioned black and white picture of King Charles holding his adorable little boy, William.
The caption read:
“Wishing the Prince of Wales a very happy birthday!”
Hard to believe the toddler in the photo is Prince William.
Kate’s a self-professed amateur photographer who has taken some of the most heartfelt portraits.
Unfortunately, the media and news agencies cruelly criticized Kate’s Mother’s Day photo for being doctored.
That didn’t deter the lovely mother of three from sharing birthday snaps of Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte.
Prior to announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, there were many conspiracy theories about Kate circling the internet. It’s been a challenging time for the Wales family.
The royal family was recently graced by Kate’s presence at Trooping the Color. It was her first public appearance with the royal family since Christmas 2023. William has said that Kate is doing well and making “good progress” in her recovery.
Kate herself gave an update on her health on June 14th, saying that she expected treatment to last a few more months and that she’s “not out of the woods yet.”
