Well, at least there’s something positive that came out from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to leave the royal family. Apparently, it forced Prince William and Kate Middleton to step up their work load.
There’s a new report that says the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have almost doubled their work load ever since Harry and Meghan cut the cord on their working relationship with the royal family. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Britain’s The Sun, William and Kate have increased their workload and have become much busier than ever before since Prince Harry and his wife Meghan gave up their royal duties.

Sources say that the couple have carried out 174 engagements this year between them. In comparison, in the same period two years ago they carried out a total of 93, just over half the number. 2020’s numbers don’t count because of the pandemic.
Royal commentator Dickie Arbiter said: “In the past they have always done a lot behind the scenes. Now they are doing a lot more out in the open. Last year they were hardly seen at all because of Covid. They are making up for lost time.”
What’s more, royal biographer Penny Junor says that Prince William has definitely been showing royals fans a different side of him that they haven’t seen before.
She said, “William has stepped up into a whole new league. Maybe it is in the aftermath of Harry leaving, and the Oprah Winfrey interview, or maybe it is that now at the age he is he has more confidence, but I think William has upped his game. And Kate is just magnificent alongside him. They are a formidable pair.”
