British Royal Family News find that seeing how Prince Philip is 99, survived a major surgery and hasn’t been doing much activity, it’s surprising to many people that he’s doing as well as he has.
But with that said, there’s also the possibility that Prince Philip might be at death’s door, but the royal family just don’t want to talk about it. And yet they do. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the Daily Mail, the Windsors believe it’s bad form to speak about Philip’s death, even though the inevitable is sure to happen sooner rather than later.

A well-placed source at the palace has also revealed that members of the royal family felt emotionally torn knowing that Prince Philip could have died during the same time that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah aired both in the U.S. and the U.K. earlier this month.
The tipster said, “How must the Windsors have felt to learn that part of the deal to screen the Oprah interview involved an agreement that it would be pulled from the schedules in the sad event of Prince Philip’s death. Perhaps this is considered good PR in California. In Windsor, they are simply baffled.”
If that weren’t enough, Philip has made his future wishes pretty clear to both Queen Elizabeth and the royal family, should something happen to him.
The source said, “Philip has told the Queen that he should just be driven off to the Chapel in Windsor in the back of a Land Rover. No fanfare. No fuss.”
While there were initial reports suggesting Buckingham Palace wanted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to postpone their interview with Oprah because Philip was in the hospital, that never happened.
Instead, Harry and Meghan went on to spill all of their royal tea by suggesting the royal family is nothing but a bunch of racist bullies. Thankfully, Prince Philip doesn’t really know what is going on outside of his royal bubble.
“The family are very keen that he’s not aware of the full extent of the interview,” royal commentator Katie Nicholl recently told Australia’s 9Honey.
