British Royal Family News says that while Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas were in a very loving relationship, there are several reasons why the blonde beauty did not want to marry into the royal family. Unlike Prince Harry’s current wife Meghan Markle, Cressida knew that her life would be flipped upside down and that living under the constraints of the royal family is something that she would not be able to handle. Here’s what she has to say.
During a surprise interview with The Daily Telegraph this week, the actress and model said that she did have some fears about the royal family, which is one of the reasons why she decided to cut the cord on her relationship with Prince Harry. The couple’s relationship lasted from 2012 until 2014. Seeing just how much criticism Meghan Markle has gotten ever since she began her relationship with Harry, Cressida says she knew the same thing would happen to her.

“The fear of failing, the fear of rejection, the fear of not getting it right, the fear of not being perfect…I think that has limited me in certain situations in my life,” Cressida said in her interview. “I just think it has definitely given me a stronger sense of purpose and a stronger sense of what I want or don’t want.”
And while she will always have a place in her heart for Prince Harry, Cressida adds that splitting up with the prince was most definitely the right decision for her.
She added, “I think that I work very, very hard, I love what I do, and I just hope that this role has shown people what I can do and what I would like to do going forward and not be caught in a box in any way.”
