Prince Harry is under intense questioning from the opposing attorney in his tabloid privacy case as he is on the witness stand and being pressed for concrete evidence of his allegations.
The Duke of Sussex was subjected to more cross-examination on Wednesday, during which his long testimony was criticized for lacking tangible proof of phone hacking, despite the claims Harry has made.
In addition to the fact that all of this occurred so long ago—well over a decade ago at this time—Harry’s explanation for this up to this point has been his assumption that the Daily Mirror journalists who he claims were spying on him and hacking his phone were likely using burners to disguise their tracks.
The opposing attorney, Andrew Green, then got into the specifics of the case, going over a number of different stories and explaining, one by one, why Harry believed that phone hacking and/or surveillance were at the heart of these rumors.
Prince Harry On The HOTSEAT On Day 2 Of Testimony, Can’t Provide PROOF Of Claims?
The Mirror included details about his connection with his ex-GF Chelsy Davy back then, including breakups and ups and downs they had experienced; PH feels this information was obtained illegally using news collecting techniques.

For instance, a few pieces from the middle of the 2000s addressing this relationship were brought up.
When questioned about the reasoning behind his belief, he admitted that the anonymous “palace” sources mentioned in the reports couldn’t have been aware of such details because, according to him, he never discussed them with any palace officials.
Harry stated that he believed that some data from phone chats the two had were taken from his voice mails. The details came from reports that named friends as the source.
Green was arguing that most of what Harry was complaining about had already been published on, generally using anonymous sources, or that the Daily Mirror’s articles were reported on with information that was freely accessible to the public.
Harry called BS on it, but when asked for details, he didn’t appear to have any. Green continually questioned and disputed Green’s commitment and unwavering belief.
