Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s global press secretary announced she’ll be stepping away from her role with the Sussexes. She’s moving forward and creating her own firm.
Ashley Hansen Is The Latest Staff Member To Leave Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Ashley Hansen, who has worked for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as PR chief for over two years, is the latest staff member to leave Harry and Meghan for greener pastures.
She will start her own consulting firm, Three Gate Strategies, which will include several high-profile individuals from entertainment, tech, and finance.
When Meghan was called out for her bullying and abusive behavior toward her staff, Hansen leaped to her defense.
Hansen insisted that Meghan was nothing but kind, generous, and welcoming. Ashely claimed to feel “personally supported” by “Duchess Difficult,” and Harry and Meghan will be clients at her new firm.
Ashley will continue to support and advise Harry and Meghan but will also have other clients.
When the news was made public, Meghan sang Hansen’s praises;
“We are so proud of Ashley, especially as a female entrepreneur. We look forward to having her focused expertise on our business and creative projects and her continued oversight of our communications team. My husband and I are excited to be alongside Ashley as she builds something extraordinarily special with her firm.”
The Duke and Duchess are notorious for their difficulty in retaining staff. Most employees who have jumped ship from Archewell are accomplished and accustomed to demanding work environments.
Hansen made it a point to speak out on their behalf. The Hollywood Reporter, typically a Pro-Sussex publication, revealed the couple’s poor treatment of staff. They claimed that Meghan has been known to make grown men weep.
Meghan Was Accused Of Bullying Royal Aides
Ashley called working with Harry and Meghan “the opportunity of a lifetime.” Hansen will specialize in communications and brand management for distinguished organizations and individuals.
According to Hansen, when she had to take time off work, the Sussexes showed care and concern for her well-being, as much concern as one would show their child.
Ashley said she was asked what she needed and how they could help. She claims she was also told to take as much time as she needed.
Her account is far different from those who said the work environment they provide is toxic. An anonymous source was quoted in the The Hollywood Reporter saying that some staffers were ‘terrified’ of Meghan.”
Not to mention, the staff at Buckingham Palace still talks about Meghan’s tirades, tantrums, and demanding emails at five o’clock in the morning.
Most of the staff couldn’t tolerate Meghan’s controlling behavior. Her constant bullying and belittling of them is the stuff of legend.
The source who claimed that Meghan is a “dictator in high heels” came from someone at the top who still works for them.
Even though Ashley has nothing but positive words to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, she’s the nineteenth person to have quit working for the couple. Their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, resigned after only three months.
Before moving to California, Meghan was accused of bullying. Buckingham Place launched an investigation into the claims. However, Meghan’s team has denied this to this day, calling it a “calculated smear campaign.”
