So much for wanting to avoid drama. There are new reports that suggest Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be making their way back to the UK sooner rather than later. In fact, there’s speculation that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might be bringing their family to the UK this fall as they want Queen Elizabeth to meet their daughter, Lilibet Diana. That, and they would also like to baptist her at Windsor, too. Here’s what you need to know.
While no one knows what is really going on behind closed doors, some sources say that Prince Harry is still on good terms with his grandmother, despite the fact that both he and Meghan have thrown the entire royal family under the bus multiple times this past year.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Might Head To The UK Within Weeks
But now insiders say that the Sussexes have asked if they can fly in to London so Queen Elizabeth couple meet Lilibet. This will alsop be the first time that Meghan has stepped foot back in the UK ever since she and Harry pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royals back in January of 2020.
One tipster told The Sun: “Harry and Meghan have made this offer but a lot of people are shocked by the sheer nerve of it. They may genuinely want to see the Queen but it’s breathtaking given what they’ve put her through this year.”
The source added: “Her Majesty’s staff have not responded so far. In fact there has also been discussion about Christmas — and whether an invitation should be sent to Harry and Meghan, after they spurned one last year.”
So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about their travel plans just yet. Watch this space.
