Is the Golden State not big enough for them? There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be making another huge move again. This time around they might be looking to settle in New York City, as they are looking to have more engagements in the Big Apple in the near future. Here’s what you need to know.
One royal commentator has suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking to move to the East Coast to help enhance their brand as micro-celebrities.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Might Be Making Another Huge Move Soon
Just last month Harry and Meghan took a three-day trip to New York City, where they met with the governor of the state, Kathy Hochul, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio and UN ambassadors to discuess vaccine equality.
Royal commentator Neil Sean puts it this way: “It doesn’t really come as any surprise that the story coming back to me from a very good source is that Harry and Meghan now see themselves being pitched out in New York. Now this could mean yet another move but why? Now the real reason apparently why Harry and Meghan have fallen in love with the Big Apple is simply this – as ever now they are not royals but micro-celebrities, they have to think about how they can build their brand, make money.”
Sean added: “All the big influencers are not necessarily out in California. As they’ve seen over the last 18 months, what was once the golden days of Hollywood seemed to have really petered out, streaming seems to be the way forward.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle bought their $14 million dollar mansion in Montecito, California back in 2020. Now, whether or not they make the move to the Big Apple remains to be seen but for now, they have not made any comments about it. Watch this space.
