Prince Harry and Meghan Markle observed their sixth wedding anniversary today, as “sugar” is the traditional gift given on the sixth wedding anniversary.

Prince Harry and Meghan were set up on a blind date in 2016. Prince Harry proposed just one year later in 2017. Their wedding was a significant event, and the royal family was in attendance.
The couple were married on May 19th, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The nuptials were seen by about 30 million people worldwide on television.
Meghan’s wedding dress was created by Clare Waight Keller under the Givenchy label. The dress was modest and understated. Critics said that it didn’t even compare to the elegance of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. Kate’s dress was created by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and included beautiful floral patterns of lace.
Meghan’s dress featured an open bateau neckline, three-quarter-length sleeves, and a cathedral-length five-meter-long veil.
Queen Elizabeth thought Meghan’s dress was too white for a divorcee to wear in church. She believed it was inappropriate for Meghan to present herself as “flamboyantly virginal.”
For the ceremony, Meghan wore the stunning Queen Mary’s bandeau tiara from Queen Elizabeth’s collection. The gorgeous tiara was adorned with small and large diamonds, holding the Duchess’s veil in place.
Meghan originally wanted to wear one of Princess Diana’s tiaras, the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik, but the Queen told her it wouldn’t be appropriate.
Harry And Meghan Celebrate With Brian And Tracy Robbins
On their first anniversary of tying the knot, Harry gave Meghan an eternity ring, and to commemorate the symbolism of one year of marriage, which is paper, Meghan wrote down their wedding speech and framed it for him.
Just weeks before their first wedding anniversary in 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex brought Prince Archie into the world. By the time they had their third anniversary, they were the proud parents of two children, as Princess Lilibet was born in June.
Harry and Meghan enjoyed a double date for their sixth wedding anniversary with Paramount boss Brian Robbins and his wife, Tracy. They went to Lucky’s Steakhouse in Montecito. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being working royals in January 2020 and eventually moved to Montecito, California, where their family lives now.

Public accusations of racism, character assassination, and lies rendered it difficult for the royals to trust the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
As the couple celebrates their sixth year of marriage; however, the royal family is still furious about the pain Harry and Meghan have caused them. Many years later, the Sussexes did not earn forgiveness from King Charles and Prince William.
