He sure is Queen Elizabeth’s favorite son, now is he? There’s a new report that suggests Prince Andrew could have his royal patronages restored if he wins his legal case against his sexual assault accuser, Virginia Giuffre.

Apparently, the Duke of York still has a chance of redeeming himself, despite the fact that he has basically become canceled by just about everyone because of his association with disgraced but also dead financier, Jeffrey Epstein. Here’s what you need to know.

Prince Andrew May Have His Patronages Restored Under This Condition

Prince Andrew has pretty much been canceled both in public and behind closed doors because of his association with Jeffrey Epstein and a new lawsuit that has been brought against him.

However, Prince Andrew has asked a U.S. court to dismiss Virginia Giuffre’s sexual abuse lawsuit, as his legal team beleives it’s “frivolous.” Virginia alleges that she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York on a number of occasions while she was still a minor.

Lawyers for the Duke of York say he “unequivocally denies” sexually abusing or assaulting Virginia Giuffre, now 38, and described her lawsuit as “frivolous” and an attempt to “achieve another payday at his expense.”

However, one insider told The Times that things could possibly turn around for Andrew if he manages to win against Virginia Giuffre. The tipster said, “I think if the Queen is still alive and his name is cleared I would say that at that point what reasons would there be for him to be barred from taking part in royal duties?”

The source added, “If he’s cleared then the question to ask is why should he not be in a position to take part in royal duties and be HRH again and have his military titles?” they went on. “After all, he has served in the military.” That said, if Andrew’s brother Prince Charles becomes king at the time, things could easily become “less predictable.”
