    President George W. Bush Turns Out To Be The New Voice Of Reason For America

    President George W. Bush is turning out to be the new voice of reason for the country, as he has urged unity in congratulating President Elect Joe Biden and Vice President Elect Kamala House now that the power duo will be moving into the White House come January 20th.

    Even though current sitting President Donald Trump is yet to concede, George W. Bush appealed to the American people to come together, despite what many a nasty political campaign.

    In statement, Bush said that he spoke to both Biden and Harris on the phone and offered them “my prayers for his success and my pledge to help in any way I can.” 

    President George W. Bush Turns Out To Be The New Voice Of Reason For America

    What’s more, President Bush also commented on the high number of voters who casted their ballots in this election. He said that the impressive turnout is a positive sign of the health of the country’s democracy.

    “No matter how you voted, your vote counted,” he said. “President Trump has the right to request recounts and pursue legal challenges, and any unresolved issues will be properly adjudicated. The American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally fair, its integrity will be upheld and its outcome is clear.”

    With that said, Bush also added that the nation faces many difficult challenged ahead that “will demand the best of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris — and the best of us all.”

    “We must come together for the sake of our families and neighbors, and for our nation and its future,” he said. “There is no problem that will not yield to the gathered will of a free people.”

    In conclusion, Bush also urged both Democrats and Republicans to “join us in wishing our next president and vice president well as they prepare to take up their important duties.”
