Everyone remembers the Madeleine McCann case, right? The case of the three year old who went missing on vacation in Portugal with her British family. The McCann’s received a load of backlash when the story first broke because they said that they had put their kids to bed and left them alone in their vacation home while they went out for drinks.
They had done this before with nothing horrible happening so they were lulled into a false sense of security and never expected that someone was watching and waiting to climb through the window when they were gone and take little Madeleine from them. It’s not like Madeleine’s parents were two ne’er do wells either, they were both doctors and had two other children Two other children who were, interestingly enough, spared by whomever took Madeleine that night.
Madeleine McCann’s family agrees to get DNA test with Polish girl
Fast forward to 2023, we have a Polish girl named Julia Faustina, who is claiming that she is actually the missing child. She claims that she does not remember anything from the ages of four and under, she said that the reason why is because she suffers from complex PTSD due to an attack from an older man when she was very young.
Her Grandmother told her as much and said that she believes that her parents (meaning her current family) knew about everything she went through with this man, something that has caused her to be in and out of mental facilities her entire life.
This very same Grandmother is married to a man named Martin Ney, who was involved in the Madeleine McCann investigation, she says the man who attacked her was named Peter Ney, and that the second she saw a picture of Martin she recognized him. She says she has one memory as a small child, of being at the beach, and seeing turtles and playing with some other kids. She said that the beach was white and sandy, and there were white buildings around, remarkably similar to the resort that the McCann’s stayed at in Portugal.
There are no pictures of Julia in her family home at any age under four. There is also no pictures of her Mother while she is pregnant with her. Now, this could be a case of simple oversight, but the Faustina family is crying foul, saying that Julia is mentally ill and refusing to take a DNA test with her even though she is 21 years old (according to them, Madeleine would only be 19 if it’s really her.) and can get one herself, they have virtually no say in that.
School records are of no help because according to her teachers, she didn’t start school until she was four years old, which for Madeleine would have been post-disappearance. Her Mother completely shuts down when asked about Julia’s life before the age of 4, she either outright refuses to talk to her about it, or changes the subject entirely… which is just a wee bit suspicious.
She does not have a birth certificate, when she tries to get one the authorities will tell her the information that is on her ID card, but will not give her an actual copy of her birth certificate. (Apparently ID cards and birth certificates are two different things in other countries.) Julia also has the same defect in her eye that little Madeleine had, in the exact same place in her eye that Madeleine had, a defect which only occurs 1 in 10,000 people, making it pretty rare, which is enough to give some pause and wonder if it indeed could be Madeleine.
The McCann’s, eager to put this to rest, have agreed to get a DNA test with Julia. Julia said on her instagram story that even if she turns out not to be Madeline (even though she feels in her heart that she is) that she could be another missing girl.
Kate McCann feels like she is her daughter, one has to feel for the McCanns, they have endured a lot of ridicule and speculation over the years, it was theorized a lot over the years that they had something to do with Madeleine’s disappearance, or that they weren’t good parents for leaving their children alone at night while they went out to “party”. If she is indeed Madeleine, then this will crack the case wide open. We await the results of the DNA test. Stay tuned!!!
