A music producer, alleged to be a neo-Nazi, and his children have been accused of creating racial hatred through their music.
Police Charge Family Over Neo-Nazi Record Label That Promotes Racial Hatred
Blood and Honour, a neo-Nazi music network allegedly created by white-power band Skrewdriver, stages concerts through out the globe. Every year, the Talland family supposedly organise a concert to commemorate the death of Ian Stuart Donaldson, the lead singer of Skrewdriver, who died in 1992.
A police inquiry into ‘Blood and Honour’ and the family’s music label Rampage productions has charged Robert Talland and his children: Rosie Talland and Stephen Talland.
According to reports, Rampage productions allegedly produces and distributes records by neo-Nazi bands. Not only that, but Stephen and Rosie allegedly were in a band called Embers of an Empire at a memorial concert in 2019 and produced an album through Rampage productions.
It is not exactly clear how much of an influence the family had in promoting this inflammatory music, but one thing for sure is that they have generated publicity for themselves even if it has turned out to be rather negative.
After all, those who may have an interest in this type of music have found themselves some people that are heavily invested into it. Despite that being the case, the response on social media was very clear. A significant proportion of people welcomed the news on the basis that the music was very inflammatory.
Meanwhile, others were simply glad to see that they would no longer be trying to perform within their particular areas. One person wrote: “Good news,” while another person stated: “Is this the mob who were trying to perform in Scotland.”
Time will tell how serious the ramifications will end up being, but based on what we have seen so far, things are not looking very good. With that being said, the punishment could be severe.
