British Royal Family News find that Piers Morgan is going to do what he wants to do and say what he wants to say without any pressure from his network bosses. At least, that’s the way the television personality puts it as he says that he lost his job with Good Morning Britain because he refused to apologize to Meghan Markle.
This comes after Piers suggested the Duchess of Sussex was lying about experiencing suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy because of all the pressure she faced from royal life. Here’s what you need to know.
Piers has now gone on the record to say that he is the latest victim of cancel culture following his departure from Good Morning Britain in which he not only said that he didn’t believe Meghan, but clashed with ITV weatherman Alex Beresford over the matter. Alex basically called Piers Morgan out for having what some people believe is a slight obsession with Meghan.

Alex said, “I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle. You’ve made it so clear a number of times on this program, and I understand that you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off. Has she said anything about you after she cut you off? She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. And yet you continue to trash her.”
In a lengthy social media post that he wrote on Friday, Piers said, “Those of you that know me well enough know that, despite my many faults, I’m always willing to stand my ground for the things that I think matter most.”
He added, “And now I’ve lost my job at Good Morning Britain because I chose not to apologize for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.”
On Wednesday, Piers also told reporters outside of his home, “I don’t believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth and I think the damage she’s done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible.”
