Doctors wanted to perform a critical heart procedure on a New Zealand infant, but the parents who have remained anonymous have refused, saying they did not want vaccinated blood used.
Parents Prevent Doctors From Doing Surgery On Their Baby With Concerns Over Using ‘Experimental’ Vaccinated Blood
Their newborn has severe pulmonary valve stenosis, a condition that requires urgent blood donation-based surgery. The boy’s parents have come to the conclusion that the covid vaccine is experimental and have concerns that it could lead to an adverse reaction.
In response, the health authority (Te Whatu Ora) has taken this to court. They hope to get a guardianship that would allow them to take the decision instead of the parents. The couple says they have already secured 20 unvaccinated pediatric donors and are therefore responsible for their child.
In her comments, the mother of the child said: “We want the surgery to go ahead straight away, as soon as they can schedule it to happen, but we are hugely concerned about the blood that they are going to use.”
The judge has set a hearing for next Tuesday 6th December 2022, urging the parties to continue talking while they wait. The opposing side to the parents have alleged that the operation would have been finished several weeks ago if circumstances had been normal.
And yet, the mother continued to stand her ground. Her following comments confirmed as much: “Kiwis are amazing, people I don’t know are showing so much love.”
The response on social media was much the same. A significant proportion of people backed the mother since they felt that it was in the parents interest to decide what was best for their child. This is regardless of whether or not you agree with the vaccination programme. One person wrote: “Good for them.”
Time will tell how this will all play out moving forward, but based on the public reaction so far, the parents do have a lot of backing. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
