Outrage As Campaigners Demand The NHS Fund Biological Women Wanting A Penis Abroad-'What A F.....g JOKE'

Long NHS hospital queues are apparently enough of a reason for taxpayers to pay for trans men to get a penis abroad, campaigners have said, in what has been described as a ‘controversial’ move.

This claim has arrived in relation to penis’ being requested by biological females transitioning to become a man in order to better match their gender identity. Long waiting lists for phalloplasties, a procedure used to create a penis for men who have lost theirs in an accident, are available if one is prepared to wait.

Patients who wish to pay as much as £21,000 to have the procedure and bypass NHS waiting lists, which are currently at an all-time high following Covid, can do so by going abroad. There are around 2,000 trans men waiting for the procedure, according to the trans advocacy group Transactual.

Individuals seeking phalloplasty abroad are requesting that the NHS offer funding so that waiting times are reduced, according to Transactual. It says that it is ‘unacceptable’ to have things the way that they are currently operating.

In some comments, Brown said: “It’s costing people’s mental health and they need NHS help with that for already stretched services. They might find its cheaper to send people overseas. Just because it’s not physical pain doesn’t mean it’s not pain.

“When people are struggling with dysphoria they can struggle to even leave the house.” The response on social media was one of outrage. This was on the basis that there should be a focus on other areas of the health service that are currently being underfunded, such as terminal illnesses.

One person wrote: “What a f…..g JOKE,” while another person stated: “Can the nhs deal with waiting list for heart, lung, kidney disease first before pandering to these people who may then charge their minds and sue the nhs.”

There appears to be a clear disconnect with public opinion to that of what campaigners want. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
