Fans of the TLC show, Outdaughtered were shocked to see that it wasn’t coming back for another season. They all thought that it had been canceled, but it looks as if that is not at all what happened. Adam Busby and Danielle Busby are still in touch with the network and are trying to get through some of life’s challenges these days.

    Outdaughtered: What Happened?

Of course, there are plenty of rumors going around about the show, and the only people who really know the story are the Busbys. The couple has six daughters, including quintuplets. The show was based on their daily lives and struggles and focused on watching the girls all grow up. The couple has decided that they need to take a break from filming and “regroup as a family.”

The show hasn’t been on TLC since May of 2021 and fans really would like to know what they have been doing to stay busy. They haven’t been on social media that much and their YouTube channel has been lacking in content. No sooner did fans get nervous about the family than Adam and Danielle decided to share a video on YouTube.

The couple told fans, “The show wasn’t canceled. It just became a strain on everyone. We’d come home and you’d have this small window of time that we could either film something or they were having to get ready for sports. We got through the last season and we were like, man, I think everybody, the crew included, just needs a break.”

They aren’t sure if they will do another season of the show, but they’re also not giving up on the idea. Adam said, “We’re kind of keeping things open. There are no hard feelings or animosity between us and the network or production. We’re still in talks with the network and communicate with them.” Danielle said taking a break was “healthy for them” and then added, “We’re ready to find out where God wants to put us next. We don’t know what the future holds.”

Fans of the show were very sad to see it go off the air, but for the most part, they understand that the girls are growing up and getting into more after-school activities and sports. Being on television is hard enough to do and these extras added on top of that are just a recipe for disaster. You can keep an eye on the Busbys on their social media accounts.
