‘OutDaughtered’ Spoilers have found that the new trailer for season 8 of TLC’s reality show, following the lives of Adam Busby and Danielle Busby and their six daughters (five of whom are quintuplets) has just dropped on YouTube. And some of the content has fans worried for 36-year old supermom, Danielle.
The trailer starts off fun enough, showing Ava, Parker, Riley, Hazel, Olivia (5) and Blayke (9) enjoying their summer amid the pandemic, camping amidst stormy weather and learning to ride bicycles, as well as showing some of the struggles the family faced while quarantining.
‘OutDaughtered’ Spoilers: Heart Surgery Needed For Mom, Danielle Busby?
Things start to take a turn for the serious when Hazel’s eye issues are re-addressed, but it’s when Danielle is seen in bed, telling husband Adam “everything just hurts and it’s getting worse,” that fans began to worry.
Though Outdaughtered finished up season 7 in just four episodes after the pandemic shut down filming, Adam and Danielle have turned to social media to keep fans updated on their family. This is when it was first revealed that Danielle is unwell and has been facing a barrage of tests in the hopes to diagnose her mystery illness. Now fans will see Danielle’s health battles on screen.
In a scene where she shows her young daughters her heart monitor, little Riley asks if her mother needs to wear the device because her heart is broken.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
When speaking of the likelihood of heart surgery, Danielle’s doctor warns they cannot rule the possibility out. He explained they all need to take things one step at a time.
“Yeah, it makes me scared,” the visibly, and understandably shaken mom tells the camera in the clip. “I’m a freaking mom of six, for God’s sake. If I have to have surgery…what does it mean for me to have heart surgery? I’m freakin’ 36 years old.”
Danielle and Adam have thanked their fans for their thoughts and prayers while Danielle has been facing these medical problems. It looks like they can use plenty more. Here’s hoping we all finally get some good news about Danielle when OutDaughtered returns Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
