Nick Cannon reveals that his youngest child has died from a brain tumor. Cannon made the emotional announcement Tuesday on ‘The Nick Cannon Show’, telling his audience that 5-month-old Zen had passed away. He explained that things took a turn for the worse around Thanksgiving as the tumor began to grow very quickly.
Cannon says he spent last weekend in California with his son and on Sunday they took a trip to the beach where they held their son Zen for the last time. He would pass shortly after.
Nick’s clip was passionate and emotional. When he began, he was cheered on among viewers as he struggled to open up at first. Take a look at the clip below.

Zen was about 2 months ago when he started to develop what they thought was a sinus issue then they noticed his head seemed to be large. Doctors said fluid had started to build up in his head and soon discovered the tumor which required immediate surgery.
Zen was Nick’s 7th child and was the 4th born in the last year and a half.
Prior to his passing, Cannon and Alyssa Scott had kept the health issue private.
We are so sorry to hear the tragic news and wish the best for Nick and Alyssa. No parent should ever have to bury their child.
