It looks like we’re going to have a fun episode for reflection on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s past decisions and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers.
We’re probably going to get plenty of awesome flashbacks to all different eras from his various attempts at love to his epic battles with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

It’ll fit in nicely with him traveling to Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s ceremony as he’ll be reflecting to look ahead.
He’ll have a few emotional moments where he’ll relive some of his failures, and we think it’ll lead him to thinking of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a little more, though we’re sure he’ll know to keep his mouth shut this time.
There’s a flip side to this as well as it’s possible he’ll think of his recent choices and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will come to mind.
It’s not a popular opinion, but ‘Young and the Restless’ think it’s only a matter of time before they do reconnect and become this show’s Eric Forrester (John McCain) and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 22: Time to turn the page
The writers have dragged the storyline of Jack being single and looking way longer than they need to, and we’re all for them moving forward to find him someone.
If it’s not going to be Sally or Phyllis, maybe he’ll meet someone Summer and Kyle know and things will go from there?
The show’s shown they’re not shy about bringing in new characters to stir things up, and this would be a great way to refresh the show.
Though to be fair, Jack and Sally would do that as there’s countless storylines that could be played off them being together, but it’ll take Jack not letting go and we don’t see that happening for a while.
It’ll be fun to see Jack in a relationship and one that has a chance to last instead of being a place holder for someone else like Victor or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) come in and take them away.
Of course, there will be other family members with him on the private plane and they’ll reminisce as well and help jog his memory at times so it won’t be as depressing as it could be, and for that we’re grateful.
We’re actually curious if one of his sisters will sense his thought and feelings and try to set him up with someone they know once they land?
Who knows, it could be just what Jack needs.
