CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to shift gears as we head back into old storylines after our break from them, and things haven’t changed that much in Genoa City.
There will be some unexpected moments to come now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has declared open war on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chance Comm.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 21: Readying for war
With the wedding over, the Newmans will turn their attention to the family’s boogeyman. Afterall, someone’s got to teach Billy not to flash any morals in front of Victor.
To achieve that, Victor’s top lieutenant, er son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will begin readying the first volley with some help from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
‘Young and the Restless’ are guessing Devon will know some of Chance Comm’s advertisers and Adam will start spreading false information wrapped up in some truth to influence them to drop Chance Comm.
He may even start gearing up their Newman Media’s writers to put out some hit pieces to draw first blood.
This should prove interesting when Amanda Sinclair (Michael Morgan) finds out Devon’s helping.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 21: Mariah’s welcome
After leaving Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) due to her commitment at the wedding, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will return home and may be surprised when Mariah welcomes her back.
Given how coldly Mariah treated her when she tried to talk to her on the phone, it’ll be a good and confusing moment for Tessa if she’s welcomed warmly.
Mariah’s had some time to think, and while it could mean something good will happen, it also means something back could be coming.
There’s every chance Mariah will be plotting something or simply be cold and distant at Tessa’s first slip. Mariah has a solid support system around her, but she needs more than just talking to people and how she reacts here could make or break her for the near future.
Still, we think Mariah will make every effort she can to be warm and comforting to convince Tessa she’s fine. We hope it’s genuine and not a show to convince Tessa things are returning to normal.
Given this is daytime television and a soap opera, we always expect the worst and hope for the best. It’s a habit we’ve developed.
What kind of help will Devon give Adam? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
