Netflix’s ‘Social Distance’ anthology series was brought to us by the team of that made ‘Orange is the New Black’ that detailed the COVID-19 pandemic and what it was like being locked away in our homes for so long. The series featured the dark and comedic moments and how people strived to stay together during it.

“Shot in isolation, this narrative anthology series features both dark and funny takes on how people strive to stay connected while staying apart. When the world stopped back in March, a team of creators, writers and actors leaned into ingenuity and creativity to keep storytelling alive. From the team who brought you Orange Is the New Black, see how Netflix’s latest anthology series, Social Distance, symbolizes triumph of the human spirit and a reminder that no matter how far apart, we are in this together.”

Now, you can go behind the scenes on the series and watch the making of Netflix’s ‘Social Distance’ with familiar faces like Oscar Nunez (The Office) and Mike Colter (Luke Cage). The COVID-19 situation was very hard on a lot of people, and seeing the struggles, comedy, ups and downs in this series gave a lot of people hope.

We weren’t alone during this, and many people are still dealing with lockdowns and being inside their homes away from others. It’s important to remember to hang in there, and if a series like this can help people, that’s a great move from Netflix.
