Netflix probably just gave you goosebumps with their new trailer ‘Ratched’. For the younger viewers, you may not know who this iconic nurse is, and for those who do, know Sarah Paulson is probably the best pick to portray her in the modern age of cinema. Paulson has given chilling performances on the hit show ‘American Horror Story’, and this comes from the same creator as it.
Nurse Ratched is the main antagonist from ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’, the novel and the classic film starring Jack Nicholson. She is a cold and heartless nurse who works at an insane asylum. This will explore her origins as she was a wartime nurse and will show her early years at the asylum.

What would really make this series (assumed series) extra special is having a cameo from Jack Nicholson. While this is unlikely to happen, I think it would create a great homage to where the character of Nurse Ratched came from.
This looks super interesting, and Netflix continues to overload us with great and amazing content. Here’s to hoping this is as good as it looks!
