Netflix’s ‘A Classic Horror Story’ is coming out in just a few months and received its first teaser today that definitely teases us. In the teaser, we see an old house, a mounted deer head, a person in a cloak, and a terrible torture scene.

Though, what is this going to actually be about? In the description, we get a little bit of a hint at the end, when it tells us that it looks like a classic horror film, but instead… Instead what? Instead, it’s going to be a modern version with a lot of CGI blood and over-the-top gore effects? Or will it actually be a terrifying experience like the classic horror genre?

Take a look at the teaser below that was uploaded with the following description,

“Music for children, an abandoned house, five strangers: it looks like the classic horror movie and instead…”

Viewers commented on the teaser, “I was for some weird reason expecting the deer head to come to life like the evil dead and start singing to the music.”, “Horror shows without jumpscares are the real deal.”, “We need more horror content from NETFLIX.”, “Now THIS…is what I call a real teaser/trailer. Keeps me wanting to know more without telling me the whole plot.”, “the fact that there were no jumpscares in this but i still jumpscared myself predicting what i thought would happen.” and “you know what i think would be possible through netflix, a mini series of Cabin in the Woods; they can show off different monsters or how some of the other facilities handle the sacrifices.”

Netflix’s ‘A Classic Horror Story’ releases on July 14th.
