NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) thinks she landed herself a CEO. Obviously, she was wrong. Still, she didn’t know that at the time and gloated big-time with her mother, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). Let’s take a look at why this moment was a highlight of the week, as well as how wrong this could go for Chanel.

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we had a literal popcorn moment. Knowing that Chanel was going to announce her marriage during one of this week’s episodes, we had a bag ready to go. And we were not disappointed. The DOOL writers have been on fire lately, and we think this scene was an example of that.
The outright shock and disgust on Paulina’s face when she realized her baby is, in fact, a you-know-what was priceless. And let’s face it—someone who marries a drunk, mourning-a-breakup-guy for money, then hop into bed with him after knowing him for hours is not some innocent waif.
Our personal highlight was Paulina asking Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) if he’s rocking an eight-pack. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) obviously trying not to laugh was icing on the cake. And we can just imagine the conversation he and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) had when he got home.
Another great part of the whole thing was how Xander seemed to get joy out of poking the rattlesnake that is his new mother-in-law. Clearly, he didn’t appreciate her insults, so he had fun with her instead. Of course this is about to change.

First, let’s take about Chanel and her upcoming buyer’s remorse. She, as expected, didn’t do her homework. So she was beyond shocked when Xander pointed out (after the others left) that he has nothing, basically.
He’s not a CEO. So, he advised her to choose some cereal from room service instead of the massive feast she’d been planning. Her look of horror was on point and we can’t wait to see what’s next with this actress.

As for the future, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers are teasing some interesting times ahead with Xander. What? You thought he was going to let Chanel totally off the hook here? Wrong.
The teasers look like he’s definitely going to give Chanel a huge reality check as to who he really is, and we can’t wait. However, it also looks like there’s a good chance they could be teaming up for a common cause. This is going to be fun.
