NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal recent events lead us to ask a question. Is Salem really this stupid, or are they just putting on an act most of the time? We’ve talked before about how this town tends to makes its own monsters, but the past few episodes have made us wonder what is wrong with these people. Here’s what you need to know.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Threat
So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate everyone believes Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is a dangerous woman. Everyone goes on about how she’s unstable and her “redemption” is as fake as those masks she wears.
This is one of Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) justifications for moving in on a man who’s spoken for. Hmm. Doesn’t sound like she’s very scared of the woman who recently held a gun on her. If she was, she’d stay clear of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Instead, she listened to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and confessed her love for him. She even insulted Kristen to him in her effort. Nicole’s another one. If she was as concerned as she claims to be, she wouldn’t have put Chloe in that position.
Unless, of course, she secretly hates her and wants Kristen to take her out. Because there’s really no other justification for such a choice if they really believe Kristen is as bad as they claim.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Exhibits B and C
Another example is Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow). She has made no secret of thinking Kristen is problematic as well. So, we can’t imagine what possessed her to turn her back on Kristen like she did.
Especially after refusing to help Kristen avoid being exposed by Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano). And she wasn’t the only one.
Before her, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) learned Kirsten’s secret—she’s posing as Susan Banks (Haiduk). Again, Kristen made it clear she wanted cooperation and wasn’t going to take no for an answer.
What did Sarah do? Instead of playing along from the word ‘go’, she made it clear she was going to turn Kristen in. And we know how that turned out. She’s currently on some island, far away and possibly still tripping on the drug she tried to inject Kristen with.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What’s the deal?
We can’t help but wonder, why do they constantly say these things, yet act in direct opposition? We can’t help but wonder if everyone in Salem has come to accept the roles society’s given them to play.
Some of the good guys, some are the villains. Like a family tradition that everyone just goes along with, regardless of what else is going on around them, they stick to the role they’ve been given.
This is really the only answer we can accept, because the alternative means people in this town have zero sense, and are prime candidates for The Darwin Awards.
