NBC ‘Days of Our Live’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we had a bit of a sad moment recently. See, we are loving Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). So, we did not like hearing her say she was leaving Salem.
Luckily, she later clarified by saying she was going back to Miami temporarily to settle some affairs before making Salem her home base. Before she left, she gave us a tease of the future. Let’s take a look at what happened and where we think this is going.
NBC ‘Days of Our Live’s Spoilers: Betrayal
So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) is an awesome con, but apparently not always the smartest. She was dumb enough to object to the amount Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) accepted—in front of Paulina.
Then she slipped and said something she shouldn’t have. As Paulina is no fool, it took her zero seconds to realize her own daughter was trying to con her.
We have to give props to Telfer for his great handling of the scene, as well as Harry. Her mix of disgust, pain, and “shake it off” energy was great. Chanel needed every word of the tongue lashing Paulina dished out, and Paulina needed to get those emotions out.
NBC ‘Days of Our Live’s Spoilers: Dust yourself off
After another mini-breakdown with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) where she explained what happened, Abe was concerned about her leaving town. He didn’t see her as the type to turn tail and run—especially after everything he did to get her that project approval.
Paulina proved she’s picking herself up again fast by saying there was no chance of that. She’s coming back to rule real estate in Salem as well. Her attitude was great, and shows how she became the success she is.
It’s also great to see her balancing between holding Chanel accountable for the scam, while also recognizing her own part in it. But her goodbye left a big question
NBC ‘Days of Our Live’s Spoilers: She’s got a secret
Before heading out, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Paulina visited Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers). After explaining the situation, she got a minute alone with the twins.
This is where she revealed to the newborns she has a secret. She then proceeded to whisper it as the show faded out, with us not knowing what the secret actually is. Or do we?
See, we know she’s beyond hurt and angry. We’re wondering if part of this business is her writing Chanel out of her will and making Lani and her family the heirs.
And she’s likely going to keep that from everyone, knowing Lani would put up a fight. After all, she almost didn’t accept the college tuition gift for the twins, and they’ve been making a thing about them not having a lot of money.
This leads to some big possibilities later, should this come out. You know Chanel would lose it if she found out she’s been left completely high and dry.
And we can see this leading to a lot of conflict between her and Lani, not to mention Paulina. And who does family drama better than a soap? Stay tuned, because we think Paulina and Chanel are going to make Salem a very… interesting place.
