NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) are heading for divorce court. At least, as things stand now.
Ciara made it very clear she wanted nothing to do with this marriage. Of course, Ben doesn’t feel the same way. This led to an… interesting moment at the end which should play out Monday. Let’s take a look at what we think will happen.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Dividing it up
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal divorce is nothing new in Salem—or soaps, in general. Neither is the typical divorce situation. As in, fighting over property and other assets. However, Ben and Ciara are going to be fighting over the most unique one yet: Who gets the lawyer?
And by lawyer, we mean Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Both Ciara and Ben had the idea to hire him for their upcoming battle. They showed up at the Kiriakis mansion at the same time, which should lead to an awkward situation for Justin. We’re seeing only two ways Justin will go with this.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Option #1
We don’t see him defending Ciara in this case. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Justin was Ciara’s partner in crime when she was desperately trying to save Ben from execution. He saw the depth of her belief in him and devotion.
So, it’s hard to see him just going along with her current wishes. He should be smart enough to see what most of the town is choosing to ignore—that Ciara is in no place to make these kinds of decisions.
She doesn’t have all the information and is stubbornly refusing to listen to reason. We see this as a subconscious thing on her part.
She might not realize she’s doing this, but she’s likely being so stubborn because she’s scared of what might happen next. After all, she nearly died because of a revenge plot against Ben. So, a part of her might be trying to protect herself.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Option #2
The other option we see is him making no choice at all. Again, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal he knows way more about Ciara and her past than herself. So, we’ve already argued why he might not represent her. But what about Ben?
The way we see it, he won’t be able to help Ciara, but that doesn’t mean he’ll represent someone against a relative. So, we think he’ll choose to remain the impartial party in the legal aspect while maybe trying to steer Ciara toward accepting her past and taking her future from there.
