NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we’ve got a lot going on in Salem soon. There are a bunch of comings and goings in store, and there are a few key ones that happen next week. Mostly, we find one key because it means the end of a storyline we have not been okay with. Let’s take a look at what’s ahead.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Goodbye…
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate we really aren’t sorry to see Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is heading back to South Africa August 20th. We’ve made no secret of our feelings about how he essentially took advantage of amnesia to break up a marriage.
However, Theo got a rude awakening on Friday when he walked in on Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) obviously reconciling. Clearly this disappointment will find Theo in need of space and different surroundings.
We have a feeling when he gets back to South Africa, his first order of business will be finding a new place to live. It can’t be easy to go back to a place he’s shared with her all that time. Even if we do think he asked for this. However, it sounds like he won’t be leaving alone.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: That was fast…
It seems like only yesterday Isabel Durant took over the role of Claire Brady. We’ve loved her portrayal, but it seems her time in Salem is coming to an end. At least, for now. Reports are saying she might depart with Theo.
An interesting development, considering she helped ensure his wedding to Ciara didn’t happen. What’s the motive for her leaving? Apparently, a job offer that’s just too good to refuse. There’s even talk JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) might be the reason for the offer. We’ll see.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What it means
Obviously, we’re expecting Ciara to jump to Ben’s defense on Monday, as Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) burst into the cabin with a gun drawn. She’ll obviously talk him down and convince him not to arrest Ben, or anyone else for what happened. A nice, tidy end to what was one of the messiest stories we’ve seen in a while.
We gotta give credit where it’s due. We love that the PTB didn’t want to cut Wilson because Konefal had stepped down. However, we think they should have at least kept him off screen for a little bit to work on more of a story here.
This amnesia and near-wedding to another man thing was terrible. It ended up making Theo look terrible, and didn’t do Ciara many favors either. Not to mention the way the rest of the characters came off. But it was what it was, and now it’s no more. Thankfully, the story is moving on and we’re hopeful for something better in the future.
