NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we didn’t have a favorable impression of Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). We talked a bit about her awkward introduction before, but we’re starting to change our mind. Let’s take a look at the ways Paulina is winning us over, and how Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) is adding some fun to Salem.

So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate we met a new character recently—Chanel Dupree. She chatted up Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and quickly got her to indulge in some bubbly in the afternoon. Even Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) ended up joining in.
That was the first bit of fun. We loved the expression on Way’s face as Chanel learned about her moment with Tripp that led Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) to run away. You could see the thirst for gossip written all over her face, and we can’t blame her.
Arriving in a town like Salem as a bystander to the crazy has to be quite the show. And we love each chance we get to see a new character react to this place.
Much like the companion on Doctor Who, these characters are the audience’s voice. And they’re also a great way for the writers to poke fun at themselves, something we appreciate.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Getting better
Of course, we’ve quickly learned this girl is a bit of a trip herself. She, broke after getting cut off, had intended to scam that bubbly off Claire and Tripp. Lucky for them, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) came along, as did Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Paulina.
The fight that resulted was classic, and it gave Durant a chance to show off her comedic skills when she kept throwing one-liners in through the whole thing. Not to mention the on-point reversal Chanel went through when she learned Eli was a cop.
Of course, we see her bringing a lot of trouble to Salem. Not long after that, she clearly tried to scam a meal out of Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson), her ex. So, this is going to be an interesting ride with her, and the actress is really owning the part. She’s also showing that other side to Paulina.

So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she is Paulina’s daughter. And it looks like Paulina did a great job of spoiling the you-know-what out of her. Things apparently got so out of hand, Paulina was forced to cut her daughter off.
We loved watching her admit she made some huge mistakes, as well as being so apologetic to the others after Chanel’s behavior. This helped add to the christening redemption. She’d swallowed her pride and accepted she wasn’t the Godmother, then even gave Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) the Fairy Godmother shirt she’d made for herself.
It was nice to see her doing something to change that first impression and admitting her fault of always needing to be the star. We’re looking forward to seeing what these two characters bring to the town in the weeks and months to come.
