NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal the history of weddings in Salem isn’t pretty. With family drama, to bombs, and vengeful people everywhere, one wonders why anyone bothers getting married in that town. But the Abe Carver/Paulina Price (James Reynolds/Jackée Harry) wedding has to be the most disaster-prone of them all. Let’s take a look at the big reasons why the Universe seems to be saying “no”.

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Abe had plans for his proposal to Paulina. He even called Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) to find out exactly what to make for the big night. When Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) arrived prior to the dinner, she let Abe know just how wrong Big Mama steered him.
The pie he made wasn’t her favorite. Lucky for him, Chanel was able to tell him the right dessert. Or so she thought. She’d mistaken Key Lime Pie for a similar recipe that Paulina hates. And Paulina said so, asking who told Abe that was her favorite. But all worked out, as Paulina didn’t care about that little misunderstanding. But there’s worse signs.

We’re not going to go too in depth, as it’s spoilery for Beyond Salem. And we totally recommend you watch if you haven’t. Going in fresh makes it even better. But we digress. The point is, when Paulina and the rest arrived for their Miami getaway, things did not go as planned. And, to be honest, we thought Paulina wasn’t helping much. She seemed insecure and trying way too hard to impress everyone with her big name friends.

Another bad omen? Abe’s shooting. Sure, on the surface it looks like the Universe spared Paulina from getting the truth out, as the word of Abe’s injury came right when Paulina was about to confess all to Lani. But the fact Abe is fighting for his life in the middle of wedding planning doesn’t bode well. Nor the fact the shop he was going to get a tux from being closed that day. If Abe had been in that store, it might to have happened. But here’s the real reason this wedding is poised to be the disaster to end all disasters….
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Bad choice
So, Abe tapped Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to marry the couple. This is bad for two reasons. One being that Paulina confessed her secret in a session with Marlena. That’s going to make for an awkward day for the Bride-to-Be. And it’ll be even worse than she realizes.
What neither of them know, of course, is Marlena is now possessed by the Devil. How can a sacred union presided by the ultimate evil be anything but cursed? We think, as much as we love these two, they really better rethink their plans.
