‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers reveal Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has come a long way since her introduction to Salem. Once bent on revenge against Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller), we’ve been seeing a new side to her.
As usual, though, not all of Salem can see it. Abigail in particular is having a hard time and she’s going to have even more reason to hate her half-sister. Let’s take a look at the latest and what it might mean.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The turning point
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal there’s a good reason for Gwen’s turn around. Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) had stopped by her room to talk. After learning Laura was the one who caused all her suffering all these years, a struggle happened and Laura ended up falling and hitting her head.
She died, but it was definitely not intentional. So, Gwen panicked and reached out to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). This is where we think things changed.
Jack would have every reason to let her hang. She did pull a lot of stuff, and Laura was dead. However, he saw that Gwen was being genuine in her sorrow over what just happened. Jack’s trust in her word it was an accident, plus his support through calling the police seemed to get her attention. Honestly, it’s probably the most trust and kindness someone’s shown her in a long time.
Except for Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). But even he’s turned on her now, so Jack’s it. And we think she really appreciated that. Enough so that she’s willing to do whatever he wants her to do for them to have a relationship. That leads us to today’s mess.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Not what he planned
On Thursday, Jack arranged for a sit-down between Gwen and Abigail. Abigail was obviously hostile to the whole thing, although she did eventually concede to a truce—assuming, of course, Gwen could do one thing. She wanted Gwen to look her in the eye and swear on her life Laura’s death was an accident. This is where things went very wrong.
Gwen didn’t swear. Instead, she ended up getting sick on Abigail’s shoes. So, Abigail is no convinced Gwen staged that little stunt to get out of Abigail’s demand. She’s more convinced than ever, it seems, that Gwen is guilty. But there’s something Abigail might consider worse really happening.
During her brief scene with Jack after Abigail left, you could see horror in Gwen’s face as she realized what might be going on. She might be pregnant. Gwen even told Jack that could be the case, so this is going to get crazy. Gwen has a really difficult choice to make. The baby is clearly Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn).
There is no chance of peace if Abigail has to watch some kid that resulted from Gwen’s plot run around Salem. Will she choose to keep silent and abort the baby to avoid all this? Or will she end up leaving town long enough to have the baby and give it up for adoption? We’ll see.

What do we see? Days of Our Lives spoilers have hinted that Abigail could be heading for a mental relapse. That leads us to think she’ll learn about the pregnancy. Knowing her half-sister is carrying Chad’s child will likely be a huge blow for her. Especially if Jack continues to stand by Gwen.
We see Abigail as being on a bad path. She’s obviously been leading up to that, as evidenced by the kidnapping plot. So, this would easily be the last straw. Gwen better hope she can hide well, because we think Abigail will be coming for her soon. And there will be no holding back.
