NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) on ‘Days of Our Lives’ then you might just be sorely disappointed soon because it looks like he is set to depart from Days for good. That’s right, Eric Brady may be leaving Salem.
Thing is, after so long would they even bother recasting? And what about Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) because their new storyline just started, they finally got their lives on track together, they just got married and now, he’s leaving. I know one thing, some of us Ericole shippers are extremely disappointed.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Greg Vaughan to split DOOL
There is no word yet on whether both characters will leave the Salen landscape together or if one will be killed off or if there will be a recast. Man, that will be a bit of a whiplash for us who are used to Zucker and Vaughan scenes but such is the way of soaps, honestly. We don’t know what Ben’s exit is going to look like yet.
Right now I would pin it on Sami honestly but that may not be the trajectory this story is heading. Since I am guessing that he and Rafe Hernandez’ (Galen Gering) last filiming dates are around the same time, I am thinking that Eric might go with Rafe on a mission and both will end up dying/mysteriousltly disappearing.
If I really want to make wild accusations then I could probably pin whatever happens to Eric on this new guy, Vincent (Michael Teh), say he and Rafe both go to investigate what was going on at the abandoned building that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) found Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) in. Or maybe it has something that had to do with Orpheus, since we all know just how he loves t9 blow up buildings but something tells me Vincent would be the culprit this time around.
As for what Vaughan has to say about his split he said that it was time, and that it has been time, he’s actually thought about leaving since 2017. He said storywise a lot was promised him that wasn’t delivered upon and that ultimately made the decision for him. He also says that he always felt like a side-character in someone else’s storyline.
We have to wonder just what those promises looked like, and where those storylines would have led. We o ly see one side of the story and that is what we are presented on-screen but one has to wonder what was actually sais.
He also says that the ‘top brass’ at DOOL was willing to do a lot to keep him but it was too little too late by that time. However, unlike some of the people who have recently exited, he’s not going to say no to an eventual return but tyings are fresh right now, I wouldn’t expect anything anytime soon. Stay tuned!!!
