    So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we had a bit of an awkward moment last time. Steve thought he was walking into danger when he entered his home. However, it was a false alarm. On August 18, he’ll deal with the return of his daughter, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). And we’re pretty sure she isn’t just in town to visit. So, this could be an extra complication for Steve, who’s already consumed with what Orpheus (George DelHoyo) might be up to.

    Elsewhere, we met a new character last time—Sloan. And Leo should be thankful she arrived because Sloan is going to help defend Leo against the charges pending against him. In fact, Sloan will face off against Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and we can’t wait. This character is a lot of fun already, and we can’t wait to see her in action some more. We especially loved her snark when dealing with the possible new evidence against her client. If Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is smart, he’ll definitely want to keep her around.

    Meanwhile, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal things continue to get worse at the DiMera mansion. EJ will pushes Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) buttons, which we’re sure will lead to some fun moments. Of course, EJ needs to be cared. It seems she and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) are getting along just fine so far. Which could lead to some conflict between father and son if EJ doesn’t tread carefully. He didn’t seem to like EJ’s tactics during that dinner, which we think is a good thing. While Johnny still has a way to go—ask Paulina Price (Jackée Harry)—we think that dinner scene showed a growing maturity in Johnny.

    Finally, there’s Kayla. We’ve been saying all along that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is a loose cannon and needs help. We’re hopeful that’s what’s going on when she gives Chad advice. Someone needs to step up and do something so Chad won’t do something crazier than he already has. Which could harm his kids, who are already dealing with the loss of a parent. If Chad gets himself locked up, that won’t help.
