NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) are going to have a summer that they certainly won’t forget. That’s because the couple is not only getting ready to walk down the aisle a second time around, but they might also be starting a new family, too. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘Days of Our Lives’ head scribe Ron Carlivati offers this, “That was one of the couples we thought would be getting engaged. Lani’s looking at the calendar to figure out a date where they could get married that would not interfere with Ben and Ciara or whoever else is getting married. She suddenly realizes that she’s late. They go to a pregnancy test and she’s pregnant.”

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Eli And Lani’s Latest Setback Revealed
Carlivati says that in addition to their wedding, Eli and Lani will also be preparing to start a family together. However, Lani is going to approach this with trepidation, especially since she was pregnant before and as many fans can recall, she lost her baby David Abraham.
The writer continues, “While Eli is thrilled, we see that Lani is less thrilled, and basically it’s a fear of, ‘I can’t go through that again.’ So that is something that they tackle together and come to a decision about whether or not to continue with this pregnancy. We also wanted a little soapy goodness in there, so there are a couple of uninvited guests that may shake up the wedding.”
