NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Pauline Price (Jackée Harry) made quite the entrance in Salem. And since her first appearance, she and daughter Chanel DuPree (Precious Way) have added a new energy and fun to Salem.
However, we think things are about to take a turn for the worse here. And it might cause us to take back what we said about Chanel. Well, part of it. Let’s break it down.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Warning
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) surprised us the other day. During a conversation with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), she suggested that he shouldn’t count on Paulina returning.
It’d been two weeks and no word from her. Still, we got the impression they had a decent relationship and she saw how deeply hurt Paulina was by Chanel’s scam. A couple of weeks to decompress and deal with business doesn’t seem like much in the grand scheme here.
As if on cue, Paulina called while Lani and Abe were having their chat. She assured Lani she can’t wait to get back and see those babies, as well as settle in Salem. However, it looks like Lani might have had a bit of a psychic moment.

After the phone call with Abe, we saw Paulina at work in Miami. She was looking at a set of plans as she lamented this isn’t what Abe had in mind. However, it was too late to go back now. This was a surprising turn of events and obviously the secret Paulina refenced to the twins before leaving town. That means we might own someone a bit of an apology.

We’re, of course, referring to Chanel. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she has been conning people all over town. She turns on the charm and doesn’t seem to think first about the possible consequences.
Actually, she seems like she has zero ethics at all. We assumed she got this from her father. Every time we saw Paulina, she showed herself to be a businesswoman who handles things on the up-and-up. After all, she was utterly horrified at the scam Chanel pulled on Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).
She also expressed guilt over turning her daughter into a lazy, selfish person with the spoiling she’d done throughout Chanel’s life. Plus, let’s not forget how disgusted she was to learn of Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) past.
However, we can’t deny it looks like there might be a darker side to Paulina after all. She clearly knew about this before leaving Salem, as evidenced by her revealing some secret to the twins.
And when she said it wasn’t what Abe had in mind, it’s clear she also had a totally different vision than what she presented.
While she did seem a bit somber during that scene in Miami, we have a feeling she’s been planning this the whole time. She just might have started liking Abe and feels slightly guilty in retrospect. But she’s definitely going through with this.
We’re not sure what her ultimate plans are. However, it’s clear it will be a massive change that will likely rock the town. We’re seriously picturing her wanting to demolish the whole square, the monument to the Hortons included.
We’ll have to wait and see if that’s the case. But we have a feeling once the town learns of her plans, Paulina might want to leave Salem again—fast.
