NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that hearts are broken in Salem this week – for many of Salem citizens. Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) overhears Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Roberts) saying that Will didn’t kill Sonny’s mother, Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis (Alison Sweeney). Obviously confused and shaken, Sonny comes out from the darkness and demands answers. He wants to know who killed his mother, and he wants to know now.

Finally, Maggie whispers to him, “It was me”. From there, the whole, ugly, spiraling truth comes out. Maggie finally admits that the tragic events were caused by HER. In Maggie’s defense, she JUST remembered how the night played out. She continues that she drove drunk and the car that swerved was black. She explains to Sonny that Will Horton’s (Guy Wilson) car wasn’t black – yet they had blamed him the whole time.

Sonny Kiriakis is understandably overtaken by emotions. Immediately, he wants to make things right and tell Will – who has spent all this time being punished for killing somebody when he didn’t.  Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) explains that he has known Will was innocent before Maggie even remembered the truth about that fateful night. Victor, on his own, decided to keep Will’s innocence to himself.  Sonny is overwhelmed with anger – and tempers start to flare. Sonny breaks and yells at Victor, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Maggie that they all make him sick. He is disappointed in their lying, scheming and all-around, painful decisions.

Sonny exits the room. The metaphorical cards are in Sonny’s hand now. Maggie is overcome with deep grief and guilt. She wishes it was her that had died that night – she loved Adrienne. In fact, Adrienne was her role model. And now Maggie is responsible for her death – all because she made the stupid decision to drive drunk.  Furthermore, Maggie is no stranger to the excruciating consequences that drunk driving can have. Yet, she made the decision to get behind the wheel – and that’s on her.

What do you think is going to happen here? Will Sonny go to the police? Will Sonny tell Will the truth? Will Sonny’s relationship with Victor, Xander or Maggie ever repair?
