One of the stars from the first season of MTV’s popular reality show, Ex on the Beach has died from the injuries he received from a ‘stabbing incident’. Chris Pearson, 25 died this weekend after getting into an altercation at around 2 am Sunday morning, in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley.
The Reality star/ professional DJ was transported to hospital after being stabbed by the man he was arguing with. Sadly, Chris succumbed to his injuries around an hour later, dying in hospital.

Friends of Chris– who appeared on the debut season of the MTV show back in 2018- have started a GoFundMe for his family back in Colorado to help pay for funeral expenses. The page describes the circumstances of his death as a “tragic encounter.”
Police have only stated that Chris had been “involved in a verbal argument with the suspect” prior to the stabbing. No description of said suspect was provided and authorities believe the suspect fled “to an unknown location.” Police are actively investigating the stabbing and appear have leads, labeling the murder as a “solvable case.”
Friends, fans and co-stars who appeared with Chris on Ex on the Beach have shared messages of condolences and shock. Taylor Selfridge, who appeared on several MTV reality series including Are You the One, Teen Mom 2 and Ex on the Beach with Chris has been just heartbroken friend to commented on Chris’ most recent Instagram post.
On the MTV reality show, Chris was shown to be a party boy but also displayed his vulnerable side, crying on camera over one his exes (who came to the beach- as per the show’s concept).
Chris appeared in all 11 episodes and was touted as providing some of the show’s best drama.
