Jana Kramer and Jay Cutler’s date night photo may have sent the internet wild, but what the public did not know was that her ex-husband Mike Caussin was also pictured at the same place.

Jana and Mike’s split seems to be a distant memory given that she is apparently dating Jay. And yet, the photographer wanted to generate a further story out of nothing.

Jana had been spotted with Jay at Twelve Thirty Club, while Mike was there with another woman. And in an attempt to create further controversy, the photographer wanted to get Mike involved in the photo too.

Luckily for Jana, that did not go ahead as planned. During an appearance on her ‘Whine Down’ podcast, Jana said: “I haven’t [seen the photo] either, but you know what’s really messed up?

“My ex was there the same night, and the photographer tried getting a picture with all three of us, and I was like ‘No, no, no, no, no nice try.” 

Mike is a part of Jana’s history, and it should be staying that way. Not only that, but Jay is the ex-husband of her former friend Kristin Cavallari. The latter did not approve of Jana dating her ex and reportedly blocked her on social media as a result.

Therefore, by throwing Mike into the picture, it would have added further insult to injury even if the photographer wanted it. She added: “And everyone kind of started laughing, but I was like, ‘Not happening, no, yeah, no.

“I mean, yes, obviously we were at the same place, and when the photographer came, I was just, like, ‘Mmm…but yeah.”

Despite the absence of the photo, Jana did find it hard to see Mike being there. After all, he is the father to her kids as well as previously being her husband for a period of five years.

And by seeing him, it did bring back some memories. She continued: “I would say that was really hard to see him there…It looked so easy for him. Does that make sense?
